Experience
I love to tutor a wide variety of subjects, and my favorites to teach are Math and Essay Writing. I also love teaching students to conduct and interpret research, because I think this is a vital skill for everyone to have. When I tutor, I also like to help my students gain a passion for learning that I developed throughout my studies. I attended Beloit College in Wisconsin, where I earned a bachelor's degree in Anthropology and Biochemistry. After completing my undergraduate studies, I obtained a job as a middle school sports coach and helped lead the high-school junior varsity girls' soccer team to success. I was also head coach of the girls' beginner to intermediate basketball and soccer teams, and I enjoyed teaching the students individual sports skills, strategic understanding of the games, and team skills. While coaching, I also pursued research projects in Biology/Diagnostic Development and Medical Anthropology to work on in other countries. After a brief break from college to coach and conduct research, I recently went on to earn my master's degree in the Control of Infectious Disease at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. In my free time, I love to play sports, and soccer is still my favorite. I also love to read, cook, draw, and travel.
