I earned my undergraduate degree from Roberts Wesleyan College. I was fortunate to be able to study there under several former principals, and former teachers. I left with a deep appreciation for education. I majored in elementary education with an English concentration, and I graduation summa cum laude in 2007. I went to SUNY Geneseo for my master's degree, and I earned a degree in literacy. My GPA was 3.9. I am currently certified to teach: -Elementary Education 1-6 -Early Childhood Education B-2 -Literacy B-12 -Special Education 1-6
Experience
I am currently an elementary teacher in a local school district with eight years of teaching experience. I enjoy working with students to help them meet their full potential as a learner, and I am able to utilize traditional and technological resources to assist your child. I am available to assist with more than just homework. I can provide targeted instruction based on your child's needs. I offer a free first tutoring session where I meet with the parents or guardians to introduce myself and review your goals for your student. If I can be of any assistance meeting those goals, I can lay out my initial strategy for helping your child experience success.
