SAT: 2050 (Reading Comprehension: 650, Math: 650, Writing: 750) I have experience tutoring religious school students in English and Hebrew prayers in preparation for their bar/bat mitzvahs. I want to aid teens in the process of preparation for their standardized tests and help them gain knowledge in the reading/writing sections of the education spectrum. I know that many people struggle with these sections, despite the daily reading/writing they might engage in regularly. Being a Freshman in college, I feel like I'd be able to strongly relate to the position my students are in. This will allow me to be both empathetic and didactic in my instruction. Relevant classes I have taken include AP English Language and Composition, and AP English Literature and Composition. I had a private tutor of my own for the SATs and ACTs my junior year in High School. Additionally, I was an apprentice at a summer writing camp in Rochester NY known as Writers & Books. There, I assisted children in reading and writing based activities. Likewise, I provided consistent aid to the teachers in their reading and writing instruction.
