Experience
I have experience as a tutor and teaching assistant at the high school and college level and am happy to provide assistance with specific problems or offer more comprehensive guidance pertaining to how to approach a subject overall. With degrees in chemistry and Japanese, I have completed several courses in these disciplines, ranging from analytical to organic, and language to culture. I also generally enjoy math and science and have completed basic collegiate biology, physics, calculus, and linear algebra courses. I have taken several AP courses, the SAT, the ACT, and the GRE, and can offer advice for success on these exams as well. In terms of hands-on application of these subjects, I have experience as a research assistant in neuroscience and analytical chemistry. During my senior year of college, I was responsible for developing experiments for the undergraduate analytical chemistry laboratory course.
