I graduated SUNY Geneseo with a Bachelors in English Literature in 2012. In 2015, I recieved my Masters in Education from Roberts Wesleyan College with a GPA of 3.975. I believe that every student has the ability to achieve, regardless of their current progress. Key to this success is individualized attention from someone who has walked the path before. I have been helping students improve their writing, analysis, organization, and test-taking skills since my undergraduate days at SUNY Geneseo. I have experience both taking and assisting with a large range of assessments: SAT, ACT, GRE, Common Core Exams in ELA (3-8th grade), AP English, AP History, and all relevant NYS exams for teacher certification.

Hi, I'm Phil! As a former literature major and current substitute English teacher at Victor Central Schools, I am prepared to help students understand content from middle school to high school, and well beyond. I recieved my masters degree in Education last year, and am currently pursuing a full time position as an English or Special Education teacher. My specialty is ELA, but I have passed certification exams across all content areas to work with students with disabilities.
