Experience

I haven't "officially" tutored anyone before. I am frequently the one that is asked to assist in writing essays or to edit reports. I have helped several people at the high school and college levels with papers and understanding reading materials. I have also helped my step mother who is fluent in English (though it is her second language) compose essays and understand test questions. I am a very patient person with a passion for writing and a love of reading. I would enjoy nothing more than to pass on and share that passion with someone else. I believe that English skills are important for any field that you are looking to pursue. A well written assignment can help you in many classes that aren't English related. I have a working knowledge of Business Management and can give a lot of feedback into writing assignments in that field. I have even edited essays on anything from feline behavior to nuclear engineering.

I'm a very laid back and relaxed person. Besides my passion for reading and writing I have a very deep passion for animals. I work full time as a customer service representative at a veterinary clinic. I love working closely with people, helping them with their animals and telling them about my own. I have 3 cats, two males and a female of varying ages and they mean the world to me. I am also an avid photographer. I enjoy hiking and exploring what the outdoors has to offer while taking every picture possible along the way. In the summer I frequent the Renaissance Festival and in the winter I'm crafting everything from crocheted scarves to hand sewn blankets and hand painted baby mobiles.
