I am a graduate of the University of Rochester and Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, Illinois. I have additionally attended St. John Fisher College. I hold degrees in English, Biology, and Podiatric Medicine.
Experience
I am an experienced TEAS and SAT tutor. I generally work with students one-on-one, but I am also willing to work with small groups of two or three students on request. For the TEAS, I can assist students with all TEAS subjects, including math, reading, English, and science sections (scientific reasoning, life science, anatomy and physiology, and chemistry/physical science). I have logged approximately 2000 hours of TEAS tutoring experience. I live in Rochester, New York, and I have taught the TEAS prep course at Rochester Regional Health Care multiple times. In addition, I have successfully taught the TEAS prep course to individual students hundreds of times. My qualifications include a BA in English from the University of Rochester, as well as a BS in biology and DPM degree from Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago. In addition, I have been a classroom teacher for both English and math (Regents algebra and geometry) in a local high school. For the SAT, I initially spend some time reviewing general test-taking strategies, focusing on developing an individualized SAT program for each student. In an effort to make the most efficient use of time, I generally have students complete practice exams on their own time. I use the time during our tutoring sessions to go over incorrect answers and to provide lessons as needed. As we work our way through the SAT practice exams, the goal is to see progressive improvement in the student's scores. All of my tutoring is one on one and tailored to the needs of the individual student. I treat each student as if he/she were my only student.

Hobbies
I'm friendly and outgoing and always able to put students at ease. I enjoy reading, exercising, and spending time with my family. I am a Rochester native and currently live with my two sons and three cats :-)
